How SIGNCRAFT started

Signcraft was founded in Auckland in 1949 in the shadow of a world war by survivors of the great depression dedicated to a creative expression of the signwriting trade. We are proud of our heritage and we are one of the few signwriting firms left that is not afraid to get paint on our hands.

We are a small, dedicated and experienced team with premises still located in the same area the original company was started.

Even though we are local to Grey Lynn Auckland we provide signage all over New Zealand and are experienced in all the latest technologies as well as original brush work
